Brit-group No2 in US Hot 100! Coldplay!
Incroyable! Pour probablement la 1e fois this century, un groupe british sont No.2 in Gringolande! C'est-a-dire Jeu-froid avec Viva la Vida, de leur album of the same name. Leoni Lewis est encore #3 et Natacha Bedingfield est also there dans le Top 10.
C'est meme mieux au Canada, ou l'autre tune de leur nouvel EMI-album, Violet Hill, est aussi dans le top 10.
La last annee ou les Brit-groupes ont had a succes en Gringolande fut 1994, avec les heavy-metallers Def Leppard de Sheffield et les UB40 de Coventry, avec un morceau d'Elvis (Je can't help tomber en amour avec vous).
N.B. "Violet Hill" n'est pas tres populaire au Royaume Uni. Et il a bombed dans plusieurs Euro- marcheis, surtout les scandinaves.

L'Islande sous le cosh
L'Islande est en train d'etre hard-hit par la recession. L'ancienne republic, dont la Queen est Bjoerk, qui s'est transforme en The Icelandic Hedge Fund, avait known une expansion enorme, thanks to la sur-valuation enorme de sa Bourse, l'OMX 15.
Maintenant les irlando-Vikings pensent qu'on peut eviter le damage en talking up leur economie, c'est-a-dire si on ignorent que le Bank Rate est de 15% et que la krona islandaise perd de la valeur, Everything's gonna be all rite.
Aux 1600s, tout allait si mal que les Islandais ont discute d'abandonner leur island. Peut-etre ils vont talk about that de nouveau.

Non seulement Leoni Lewis est #2, elle est just replaced par la barbadienne Rihanna (Barbados est at least dans le Commonwealth)

Dark goings-on chez American Atheists. Their chief, Ellen Johnson, has stepped down. First it was given out that she was leaving off her own bat for "personal reasons". Then that she had left "involuntarily". I.e. had been sacked! So the 1st statement was a lie. From the holier-than-thou atheists who always respect the truth. To date, no explanation has been announced. Secretive, no?
More interesting is the story of her predecessor, Madalyn (sic) O'Hair (sic). She disowned one of her sons in 1980 after he converted to the hated Christianity (1).
Then, 1995, she disappeared with her husband and another son.
In 2001, the former office manager of Mercan Atheists was found guilty of kidnapping them, forcing them to withdraw their money, then killing them. He also murdered an accomplice. Later in 1995 most of the money was stolen by another gang, who had a key to the safe deposit.
(1) He was an alcoholic druggie, but this is quite normal in Christian America.

Now the lending rate is 15%, which would cause hysteria in Britain, although with inflation at 7% this is not so bad as it seems.
According to the FT, the "value" of the banks alone is 10 times GDP. Savvy shareholders will be selling quick. Which will accelerate the panic.
Soon Iceland's main income will be from Bjoerk's record sales; particularly the track with the Greenland Ladies Choir.

The trolls were very concerned about Liverpool's problems. They went into solemn session in their mainland capital of Bjoerkvinmonopolet (which they mangles as Bergen.)
They came up with a solution. Have the referee be a Norwegian psychologist. They rang their contacts at UEFA and blackmailed them. Easy.
He then refereed the match and sent off an innocent man. Plus, as a psychologist, he played mind games with the innocent I-ties. Liverpool win 2-0 on the night and Rafa lives a little longer.
Probably he's a follower of Transactional Analysis and well familiar with Eric Berne's "Games People Play". (Spiele der Erwachsenen/ Les jeux et les hommes)
In another crime, the trolls had the Chief Constable of Manchester murdered. They lured him to Mt Snowdon/Yr Eryri and faked a "suicide". Then they fed the media with stories that he was a Casanova and this is the reason for the "suicide". (Why? Exhaustion?) That's what you get if you interfere with the troll controlled rackets.

Late news: L 2-0 I.M. Rafa survives a little longer. Odd fact/fatto curioso : Inter have only won the EuroCup 2ce : 64 & 65. AC, however, have won 7 times.

Canadian PM turns against Mr Bush
Even the Conservative Canadian P.M., Mr Steven Harper, has turned against George Bush, admired by hip-hop gangster 50 Cent as a really cool fellow gangster. Exasperated by Gangster One's bully-boy tactics. Such as ignoring the NAFTA agreement and attempting to prevent Canadian wood exports to the US and being obstructive on the Canadian border in the name of security and the War of Terror. Mr Harper, not known for his green credentials, is even taken aback by Gangster 1's rejection of any green initiatives. So Mr Harper is looking forward to the next President.
