Is British cool making a comeback?

Looking at the German charts, 4 of the top 15 CDs are British.
Back to black (natch), Led Zep (groan), (Capt.)James Blunt*, and Katie Melua (British/Caucasian).
Too bad our modern groups are rubbish.

4 of the non-fiction(Sachbuecher) are British.
The Guinness; Eric Clapton; Tv-Chef Jamie Oliver (bet they can't understand his London accent); and Prof. Dawkins (der Gotteswahn).

1 of the fiction books is Brit - #1 - Guess who & the Dethly Hallos.

*The only British officer to have topped the American charts.
